Target Players
Frog Lacrosse is focused on serving the most ambitious lacrosse players in the south metro that are seeking more local training, practices, and game-play.

Programming

Local Teams: The Frog Lacrosse youth teams will participate in the newly formed Arete Lacrosse League (ALL) that competes in the fall, winter, and spring. The summer season will focus on tournament play.

Training & Clinics: Our staff will offer training to all south metro players and associations seeking experienced coaches that have played at all levels.

Arete Lacrosse League Format

ALL will offer two different version of leagues over the three seasons. The fall and winter sessions will be the newly formed Sixes model, while the spring will be the standard US Lacrosse model.

The Fall & Winter season game days will be on Saturdays. Our Spring schedule is TBD.

Practices: 1 practice during the week before each league game.

Games: 5 Game-days each season at rotating locations.

Tournaments: Optional Midwest tournaments for players seeking more playing opportunities. These will be additional add-ons.

State & National Team Opportunities: The top players from Frog Lacrosse will have optional opportunities to compete with UNRL MN &/or UNRL National at the best events in the country.

3rd & 4th Grade Roster Format
Fall Season: 10-14 players on a roster
Winter Season: 10-14 players on a roster
Spring Format: 12-14 players on a roster
Summer Format: 12-14 players on a roster

5th/6th & 7th/8th Roster Format
Fall Season: 12-15 players on a roster
Winter Season: 12-15 players on a roster
Spring Format: 18-22 players on a roster
Summer Format: 18-22 players on a roster

Team Selection Process

Our focus is on rostering the top south metro players to compete against other regional clubs. The south metro is full of talented players and our goal is to put the most competitive team on the field and win the A.L.L. each season.

Our staff is evaluating current Frog players. If you are not currently participating in Frog Lacrosse, please register for our evaluation session or reach out to be evaluated at an upcoming practice. We will slowly start filling rosters in early August.
